What product does Give'r use for waxing?

We wax our products at Give’r HQ by hand. We use Sno Seal for our wax product and each pair (please note which products are not waxed below) is put on, waxed, and then put in the oven to bake/seal. 

What is the difference between waxed and not waxed gloves/mittens? 

Wax coating provides additional leather protection, but is not the waterproof element. Leather will show water absorption, the waterproof membrane protects from external moisture (waterproof membrane can only be found in 4 Season Gloves, Frontier Mittens, and Children's Mittens).

What products are waxed? 

Our 4 Season Gloves, Frontier Mittens, and Children's Mittens are ALWAYS waxed

Lightweight Gloves aren’t waxed, why?

We don’t wax the Lightweights, mainly because they will not see as much winter weather as the other 3 styles. Most people use our Lightweights in the warmer months for gardening, construction, horseback riding, etc. You are welcome to wax the gloves yourself!
